Thomas Oakes & Co

Thomas Oakes & Company exhibit shows the uniform material used by state police units of 18 states who use Oakes cloth exclusively. Many other states also uniform their state policemen in Oakes cloth, but there is not enough room in the exhibit for them all. A display of auto robes, upon which the Oakes officials have been experimenting, but which have not yet been put into production is also included.
