Soldiers Monument

The statue on the top of the centennial column is unusual in that its sculptor was a woman, Sally Janes Farnam. Mrs. Farnam was a jewelry designer for Tiffany of Newark; her instructor was distinguished American sculpture, Frederick Remington.
